Patrick McGill
Patrick brings over 20 years of global business development experience to the firm, building relationships with Internet, media and mobile firms directly relevant to our portfolio companies.
Prior to joining the firm, Patrick consulted to NTT DoCoMo, helping to develop their corporate venture strategy and successfully launch DoCoMo Capital. Prior to that, he was VP Business Development at Pixo, a mobile embedded software firm. Earlier in his career, he was VP/GM at Alcatel's internet business unit, responsible for launching new web enabled mobile phones. As Vice President, Business Development at VeriFone, he played a significant role in the acquisition of VeriFone by Hewlett-Packard for $1.2 billion.
Patrick started his pre high-technology career working for British Airways as part of an operational team managing airports and living in Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Finland, India, Kenya, Oman and Saudi Arabia.
